Minimaze.org is an informational website devoted to the potentially curative procedures for Atrial Fibrillation (AF). It is a resource for patients and physicians who have an interest in learning about advanced therapy for AF, especially the minimally invasive surgical procedures. These are often referred to as "minimaze", "mini-Maze", or "mini Maze". Briefly, these are "mini" versions of the original Maze procedure, a surgical cure for atrial fibrillation originally developed by James Cox, MD, during the 1980s and 1990s.

If you are:
  • An AF patient who has been referred to Oregon Cardiology for consideration for a procedure to treat AF, start at the For OC Patients page.
  • A medical professional who wants to learn more about the many potentially curative procedures for AF, start at the For Physicians page.
